Today I feel as if I have no voice. It'salmost as if whatever i say doesn't matter, they can pretend to hear me but in the end it's just me alone in a echoy dark room talking to air.

So I'm sitting here at work in our backroom reading election news and I can't say that I've ever actually been proud to be and American before today.

I'm am totally loving how the rest of the world is reacting to this too for instance Ireland is trying to claim Barrack and even stayed a wee bit sober in honor of him on election night. Kenyains pulled all nighters in celebration, parisains are planning "farewell bush" parties.

I mean sure in all those foreign countries there were rooters for McCain aswell but I think Obama was the other all favorite overseas as well, everyone is talking about how it's showing that America is changing and its time to rebuild our repuations. I feel like this election has had such a bigger impact on those involved(and not) than all other previous ones.


One line I found that I'm not sure if I like or not yet but I do feel kind of weird towards was

"America is electing a new president, but for the Germans, for Europeans, it is electing the next world leader," said Alexander Rahr, director of the German Council on Foreign Relations.

I guess since we didn't let Obama down all we can do now is hope he returns the favor.

Hey guys, I´m in south america now. woohooo. It´s way hot during the day but soooo cold at night. I´m staying in Arequipa right now, its south of Cuzco. We leave tomorrow night for Macchu Picchu. So far altitude sickness has been okay, I think it´ll be fine cause we went on a tour with the altitude higher than Macchu Picchu and nothing really bad happened so no worries.


The scenery here is unbelievable. Insane mountains, sunrises/sunsets and lots of wild llamas :)

I can´t wait to get to the jungle part of our trek, its going to be so bad ass.

There´s been some sketchy places and bus rides one the sides of mountains but we´ve been as careful and smart about everything as possible.

I think I want to go back to school winter term.

Interview at Kids at Heart  on Hawthorne today. Pretty sick, not at the top of my game but send me good juju anyway.

I don't know how I would be able to survive in an elevator for 40 hours without anyone knowing i was in there. I would probably lose my mind.

So its official I'm going to South America for three weeks in the end of July/ beginning of August to trek around with Kendra. I'm pretty nervous because I don't speak any Spanish (haha I almost just wrote English)  My flight schedule is going to suck too. I fly to Chicago first and then to Washington DC (which is kind of cool) And from there I fly to Buenos Aires for a combined flight/layover time of 25 hours.
On the way back one of our layovers is going to be in San Fran for 7 hours which wouldn't be so lame if we could go out and explore but we get there at 12 AM. poop. Still its exciting. I'll just have to deal with my plane issues.

My birthday is coming up pretty soon, 19. nice.

I'm trying to think about what I want and I'm struggling. I'll have to think it over a little more. I don't know why I always have such a problem with the "what do you want for your birthday?" question. i should go shower before bert gets here to do laundry.

Okay so a few things have happened recently. First off I finished my GTC  program. I am officially a high school graduate with 58 college credits and a not horrible GPA :) I get an actual diploma, it should be coming in the mail soon and we have a ceremony in May!

Also my manager at work has been getting quite upset with her second in command lately and talked to the district manager about transferring her. And the other day Octavia (my manager) asked me if the position of assistant manager opened up if I would be interested in it. So thats pretty exciting, I think it would be good to get the title under my belt and the pay increase certainly wouldn't hurt. Its mostly stuff I do now anyway, plus orders.

Also Kendra is going to Argentina this summer and wants me to come visit her for three weeks! I'm really leaning towards it at the moment, I don't know when I'd get another chance. But I have to decide by tomorrow.
She leaves back for school soon *sadface*  I hope i see her again soon.

I have a job interview today after class. I hope it goes well, I'm really disliking mine at the moment and I would much rather switch to retail, this means I wouldn't be burning my arm with scalding liquids daily.

I'm really pissed I can't go to disneyland with everyone else cause its christmas week which is a blackout week. The security guard that stands next to starbucks was telling me all about it (he just got back) bastard. But on the bright-side tomorrow is Thanksgiving and thats exciting and Friday i get to work, yay black Friday but Friday night I get to go see the presidents again at the crystal ballroom, its going to be berts and amandas first concert. I'm so excited, even if you don't love these guys their shows are amazing. Maybe I'll be super lame and wear the shirt I got last time too :)

i can't wait to got christmas present shopping. I actually have enough money to get everyone good stuff this year.
If I check with t-mobile and can't upgrade to one for free I think I'm going to ask for a samsung blast but I still have to check, there's a few other things I want too.

I've decided in an burst of self motivation that I want to take up an instrument. I'm quite ashamed of the lack of arts in my system. I was thinking either the Piano or the Saxophone.  They both sound really cool in their own ways.

I smell good :)

I suppose I should start thinking about getting ready to go to school.
